تلتزم حكومة هولندا
بملغ مالي لانتخابات نزيهة وحرة في ليبيا

السفير الهولندي لدى ليبيا ونائب الممثل الخاص للأمين العام للأمم المتحدة والممثل المقيم لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في ليبيا، اتفقوا على  دعم مشروع الأمم المتحدة الانتخابي في ليبيا وتعزيز علمية الانتخابات عند الشعب الليبي.

اليوم أقيم حفل التوقيع في بعثة الأمم المتحدة لدعم هولندا المالي بمبلغ وقدرة 1.65 مليون دولار أمريكي، بملغ يسلم الى صندوق المشاريع الانتخابية التابع لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي بهدف تعزيز قدرة المفوضية الوطنية العليا للانتخابات على إدارة العمليات الانتخابية التي تتماشى مع أفضل الممارسات والمبادئ المعترف بها دوليا. 

يعمل صندوق مشروع الانتخابات على دعم أصحاب المصلحة الانتخابية بدورات بدل من أحداث انتخابية ويهدف أيضا الى تمهيد السبيل لضمان عمليات انتخابية موثقة من خلال بناء قدرات المفوضية الوطنية العليا لانتخابات ومن تثقيف الناخبين بذالك لكي تكون الانتخابات في ليبيا حرة ونزيهة.

هولندا من جانبها تدعم المفوضية بالمال لتحضير انتخابات شفافة وشاملة وذات مصداقية وعلى المفوضية أن تكون جاهزة عندما تتغير الظروف السياسية.

  سيقوم برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي بتنفيذ المشروع عن طريق فريق الدعم الانتخابي المتكامل التابع للبعثة مع المفوضية الوطنية العليا للانتخابات بوصفها الطرف الرئيسي المشارك لضمان الانتخابات ومع الاهتمام الوطني بهذه العملية في ليبيا. 

والأمم المتحدة تشكر هولندا مع امتنانها لها بالمساهمة المالية في بدء هذا المشروع الانتخابي في الوقت المناسب الذي متوقع أن يبدأ تنفيذه قبل نهاية هذا العام 2017.
