An open inter-tribal meeting: a Libyan People's Diplomacy

Libyan tribes organized a meeting in the city of Tarhuna in a mechanism to get out of the political and security crisis that is raging the Libyan state, meeting a was under the slogan of "Yes for Libya" in a state represented in the Libyan national and general cities.

For Libya, the objectives of the Libyan tribes, and with the members of the Libyan sheiks and dignitaries, a movement of the Libyan People's Diplomacy, urging active participation in the dialogue since the start of Libya's successive crises.

The Libyan tribes have an active and important role in various meetings, as well as in various forms in Libyan society. It adds motivation for this all-inclusive meeting is essential in solving all of Libya's crises which lie in the dissolution of the militias within three days.

We are always keen on the role of the Libyan tribes in the collective tribal administration, which seeks to build a multi-dimensional partnership that seeks to promote the stability and security of Libyan society and cultural and religious enhancement in the East, West, and South of the Libyan state.

In addition to this role of Libyan tribal diplomacy, the friendship and love between the Libyan society in the spirit of consultation and social responsibility of Libyans, that was extended to the Libyan society since the last decades in the history of Libya after the independence of the Libyan state in 1951 AD.

The Libyan militias that control the political institutions in the capital Tripoli are successful only in the efforts to destabilize the country.

Sheiks of the Libyan tribes are considered the important artery in the Libyan state and its essential role for the success of the democratic electoral process in Libya is evident.

The Libyan tribes are witnessing today the role of great progress in the humanitarian, social and other spheres of reconciliation among the Libyans.

Libya is suffused with a barrage of internal crises with the Libyan militias whose arm muscles flex control over the capabilities of the Libyan state.

Today, every day, the Libyan tribes review the dialogue in the priorities created by the events in Libya, and the challenges facing the Libyan society.

Libya is seeking to achieve stability, security, and peace on the regional challenges facing the different paths of cooperation.

Libyan tribe’s form the intellectual union among themselves is an important space to meet the demand of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya to work seriously in all files under the presidency and one leadership that works to support security and stability in Libya.

The meeting was attended by sheiks and dignitaries of the sectors of Libyan society on the scale of Libya and cooperation for a strong Libyan capital and the dissolution of any entity or armed militias and requests the formation of a joint force of the army and police to protect the Libyan capital Tripoli.

Libya today is accompanied by a great danger and call on the people of elements involved in the armed militias to return to their families and leave all that would work on the instability of Libya.

The Libyan Tribes call an attempt not to favor one faction at the expense of other factions, the position of the tribes in dealing with Libyan popular diplomacy.

The position of the international community on the Libyan issue is neutral from the course of the crisis in Libya, but the role of the Libyan tribes should not be absent in the Libyan political and social arena because the logic of thinking out of the Libyan crisis is shared by the sheiks and the people of Libyan society.
